The establishment of the Cherry Blossom Garden began with a simple and sincere wish — to create a place for students and the community where they can pause, reflect, and experience beauty and kindness.

In an age where life moves ever faster, we hope that through the Cherry Blossom Garden, education may return to its essence: not only the transmission of knowledge, but also the nurturing of character; not only the pursuit of achievement, but also the appreciation of life’s growth itself. Each cherry tree represents long-term companionship and a promise that transcends time.

This is not a short-term project, but a long-term commitment that calls for shared stewardship. Your support will take root in the soil, bloom on the branches, and live on in students’ hearts as real experiences of responsibility, care, and generosity. Years from now, when the garden blossoms in full, this kindness will still be seen, remembered, and carried forward.

FTC Northern Cherry Blossom Garden is not merely a flower parkland, but a long-term vision to create a cultural, educational, and ecological landmark for the community and for generations to come. It is a place where the beauty of nature, the depth of education, and the vitality of art come together, forming an inspiring space that nurtures the soul and connects people.

Located adjacent to FTC Northern University — a prestigious educational institution — the parkland is envisioned as an “open campus,” where students, faculty, local residents and visitors can step beyond the classroom ... Thousands of cherry blossom trees and rare plant species are cultivated through sustainable biodiversity strategies, creating a living four-season landscape in which each season reveals its own unique beauty.

At the heart of the parkland, a tranquil lake and a graceful wooden bridge create poetic scenery, where cherry blossoms reflect upon the water, footsteps slow down to embrace serenity, and memories are captured in every photograph and moment. Japanese-inspired Zen Pavilions provide spaces for meditation and contemplation, helping visitors rediscover inner balance amid the rhythm of modern life.

Music, art, and community spirit come alive in open performance spaces, where FTC Northern students, local residents, and visitors gather to share, perform, and celebrate creativity — allowing artistic expression to flow freely beyond the classroom and into nature.
